TAMPA, FL. – Two shootings, with three victims, kept Tampa Police busy overnight as police continue investigations into both incidents.
The Tampa Police Department was dispatched to a shooting at 1310 West Waters Avenue overnight.
According to police, two subjects were located with non-life-threatening injuries which were obtained during a drive-by shooting.
The suspect vehicle was a small gray vehicle. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
In a separate shooting, Tampa Police were dispatched to the Haven at the Waters Edge Apartments reference several gunshots.
Upon arrival, officers located a male with two non-life-threatening gunshots wounds to his leg.
The suspect fled on foot.
The investigation is ongoing, but police say it does not appear that this shooting was related to the earlier shooting at 1310 West Waters Avenue.
