HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and the Florida Department of Corrections, conducted a Halloween operation targeting registered sex offenders.
Between October 28th and 31st, authorities completed 174 home checks to ensure compliance with sex offender registration requirements.
While no violations were found during the Halloween operation itself, three individuals were arrested for violations reported earlier in October.

All three individuals were arrested and booked into the Hernando County Detention Center.
