Renee Edwards, founder of the popular regional “Saturday Shoppes” market, partners with the Tampa Bay Rays to provide economic development opportunities to the community, with a strong focus on minority and women-owned businesses.
The growth of the “Saturday Shoppes” has been remarkable, making its mark in cities nationwide including St. Petersburg, Tampa, Miami, Atlanta and this year in Washington D.C. Building on that success, Edwards launched the afternoon/evening market “Shopping with a Vibe” in Clearwater.
A unique component of Edwards’ work is the Saturday Morning Shoppe Vendor Academy which allows vendors the opportunity to participate in a four-week training focused on improved marketing and social media strategies, exceptional customer service, licensing, and other business best practices.
