POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 27-year-old Davenport man was killed crossing I-4 near Exit 58 around 4:14 AM on Thursday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was struck by a tractor-trailer driven by a 63-year-old Lakeland man. The man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash
Troopers say the pedestrian was likely struck by other vehicles following the initial collision and is asking anyone that information regarding this crash to please call the FHP at 813-558-1800.
