25-Year-Old Tampa Woman Killed In I-75 Crash Overnight

TAMPA, Fla. – A 25-year-old Tampa woman died at the scene of a crash around 12:15 am on Sunday.

Florida Highway Patrol said two cars were traveling northbound on I-75 near Milepost 244 in the outside lane.

Troopers say the car driven by the 25-year-old Tampa woman became disabled in the travel lane.

According to troopers, the car behind the woman was unable to stop and collided with the rear of the vehicle.

Investigators say that both vehicles came to a stop on the outside paved shoulder.

The 25-year-old woman suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash, according to FHP.
