25-Year-Old Tampa Man Killed In Land O’ Lakes Motorcycle Crash

LAND O’ LAKES, FL. – A 25-year-old Tampa man was killed on Sunday in a crash that happened in Land O’ Lakes just after 7 pm, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say an SUV was traveling eastbound, exiting a gas station located at 7715 Land O’ Lakes Boulevard, north of Causeway Boulevard.

The Tampa man was traveling southbound on Land O’ Lakes Boulevard on a motorcycle.

Troopers say as the SUV exited the gas station and attempted to turn left, the vehicle entered the path of the motorcycle, and the motorcycle collided with the left side of the SUV, ejecting the rider onto the roadway.

Transported to an area hospital, the man later died from injuries suffered during the crash.
