Brittany Palmer was 23 when she went missing in Florida on August 22, 2020. Her family wants answers and to bring Brittany home.
Brittany was last seen at a friend’s home in the New Town neighborhood in Jacksonville, Florida.
Brittany called her own mother that day, Vontria Mobley, said that she was upset over some money that had been taken from her. Vontria told Brittany to call her back later, but she never did.
It was reported that Brittany had gotten into an argument with friends she believed had stolen money from her.

Two days later, on August 24th, Vontria received a phone call from Brittany’s phone.
Vontria called her daughter’s phone back, and an unidentified woman answered and said that she had purchased the phone from someone.
Since then, Brittany has never been seen or heard from again.
“Every day, I look for her phone call because I know she’s going to call me,” Vontria Mobley told Action News Jax. “She hasn’t called.”
According to her family, Palmer is very trusting, and they think she may have been taken advantage of by people she trusted.

Palmer also has a twin sister, Brianna. “She was always the type to give people the benefit of the doubt, and I know she was still angry about her money,” Brianna said to Action News Jax in 2020.
Six years before her disappearance, Brittany was involved in a car accident that caused a traumatic brain injury.
Brittany also walks with a limp due to the accident and has to travel with a cane or walker.
Brittany’s injuries and trusting nature likely made her an easy target for those with the wrong intentions.
Brittany has a tattoo of the word “Loyal” in black script on the side of her chest, a large tattoo of pink flowers and a butterfly on her upper arm, and a tattoo of paw prints on her thigh; photos of those tattoos are posted with this case summary. She also has tattoos on her wrist and forearm.

Palmer’s ears are pierced, and at the time of her disappearance, her hair is colored gold at the ends.
