A 22-year-old man from Corpus Christi, Rudy Feregrino, has been sentenced to 90 months in federal prison for robbing a Holiday Inn Express and brandishing a firearm during the crime.
Feregrino pleaded guilty to the charges in May. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Feregrino entered the hotel on January 20th, pointed a gun at the clerk, and demanded money.
He was later apprehended by law enforcement after being spotted in a stolen vehicle. He was still wearing the same clothes and had the firearm used in the robbery.
