TAMPA, Fla. – According to the Florida Division of Emergency Management, 218 Americans arrived on Wednesday night at Tampa International on a third state-funded flight from Israel.
The flight from Tel Aviv arrived around midnight, according to airport officials.
On Sunday night, the first plane from Israel to Tampa touched down, bringing 270 Americans back from Israel.
The second flight touched down on Wednesday morning.
The Florida Division of Emergency Management provides funding to Project Dynamo, a nonprofit organization based in Tampa, to enable the flights.
More planes are anticipated to land in Tampa, but details were’t readily available.
