PALM HARBOR, Fla. – A 21-year-old Palm Harbor man was killed in an early-morning crash that happened around 3:56 am Saturday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling in a car southbound at high speed on Highpoint Drive and failed to negotiate a curve near Mira Vista Drive.
Troopers say the car departed the road and collided with a tree. The driver suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
