In February, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the American economy added 311,000 jobs in an effort to contain inflation. This means a better-than-expected streak that has increased the employment in the country.

To determine which states have the best job opportunities in 2023, Scholaroo has conducted the first study to examine employment conditions in all 50 states: the 43 metrics were analyzed across five key indicators, determining the benefits and opportunities a worker would have in each state.

According to this report, except for California (#29), Arizona (#31), and Montana (#28), the states with the best job opportunities are located in the west, south-central, and west of the country, with states such as Colorado, Texas, and Utah, ranking #1, #3, and #4 respectively.

On the other hand, the study reveals that the Midwest is divided when it comes to employment rankings, as the states located in the east were ranked at the bottom, with states such as Illinois, Indiana, and Mississippi ranking #43, #48, and #50, respectively.
