HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – Two Spring Hill teens were killed and two were seriously injured in a crash that happened around 11:05 p.m. on Saturday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on Mariner Boulevard, north of Santee Street, when the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.
Troopers say the vehicle departed the roadway while rotating and entered the front yard of a private residence located on 6225 Mariner Boulevard, overturning and colliding with a tree.
Two of the six occupants later died from injuries suffered during the crash at an area hospital.
