2 New Port Richey Men Killed In SR-54 Crash Saturday

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Two New Port Richey men were killed in a crash that happened on Saturday around 2:52 pm.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Kia Sorento was traveling westbound on SR-54 at a high rate of speed.

Troopers say that at the intersection of Virginia City Drive, a Lexus RX turned left into the path of a Kia and was struck by it.

The driver of the Kia, a 27-year-old Holiday man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. 

However, the driver of the Lexus and a passenger, a 66-year-old man and a 68-year-old man, respectively, both of New Port Richey, suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.

There is no information yet if any charges will be filed in this crash.
