BRANDON, Fla. – Panic set in Friday as a report of a shooting at Brandon High School spread on social media. Thankfully, that report was unfounded, and no threat has occurred on campus.
According to Hillsborough County Public Relations Coordinator Marco Villarreal, there is no threat on campus and no shots fired.
Villarreal said there was a fight between a group of students and a possible threat to “come back with a gun.” Hillsborough County Sheriff is investigating this incident.
