HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – An 18-year-old Webster man died Wednesday night in a single-vehicle crash on US-301 in Hernando County. The accident occurred at approximately 8:54 PM, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
According to reports, the man was driving a Ford F250 pickup truck northbound on US-301, north of SR-50, when he lost control of the vehicle on the wet roadway.

The truck then rotated towards the west shoulder of the road and overturned.
The 18-year-old driver, whose name has not been released pending notification of next of kin, suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
