Seventeen individuals have pleaded guilty to federal drug distribution charges related to a Baltimore-based trafficking organization that flooded Berkeley and Jefferson Counties with fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine.
U.S. Attorney William Ihlenfeld praised the collaborative efforts of federal prosecutors and local, state, and federal investigators, emphasizing the significant progress made in holding those responsible accountable for their crimes and the dangers they posed to the community.

Those who have pleaded guilty include: Zachary Thomas Doman, Marissa Huntoon-Gregory, Connor James McLaughlin, Alyssa Rose McIntyre, Daniel Lee Corbin, Jr., Eric Lyn Custer, John Wesley Yates, Haile Madalynn Speaks, Kimberly Ann Barrett, Brenda Henry, John Ernest LeCluse, Michael Lee Engle, Joshua Paul Barrett, Gregory O’Brien Long, Jr., Jeffrey Scott Main, Eva Louise Ashbaugh, and Kayleigh Nicole Beavers.
The remaining defendants are scheduled for trial in February 2025, with U.S. Magistrate Judge Robert Trumble presiding over the plea hearings.

The investigation involved a wide range of agencies, including the FBI, DEA, U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations, United States Postal Inspection Service, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, United States Marshals Service, Eastern Panhandle Drug Task Force, West Virginia State Police, West Virginia Air National Guard, and various local law enforcement agencies from West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland.
