ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Authorities are conducting a death investigation following the tragic death of a 15-year-old boy at 11850 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street North.
The victim was discovered with a gunshot wound and was transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police officers are currently on the scene gathering evidence and working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
