PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. Deputies arrested a Pinellas County Schools student for Written Threats to Kill or Conduct a Mass Shooting.
According to deputies, 13-year-old Kendrick Meadows sent messages in a group chat, via Snapchat, to another student regarding participating in a school shooting that would take place at Carwise Middle School.
Deputies say Meadows then stated he would shoot the other student first if he reported the incident to anyone. The student who received the messages notified his parents, who contacted law enforcement.

He was transported to the Pinellas Juvenile Assessment Center.
