Life under the current immigration policies becomes more perilous for Americans. This time, it’s 12-year-old Travis Wolfe of Missouri.

The family of Travis Wolfe removed him from life support last Wednesday, roughly three months after he entered St. Louis Children’s Hospital following a head-on collision involving his family.

Travis and his parents were traveling in Hazelwood, Missouri, on December 20th when they were struck head-on by a van driven by Endrina Bracho, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela.

The night before Travis’s birthday.

According to reports, Bracho was barreling through a 40 mph zone at 70 mph when the crash occurred. She was going the wrong way down the highway.

Police said she traveled roughly a third of a mile in the wrong lane before smashing into the Wolfes’ Jeep.

“That’s a long way to travel in the wrong direction and not realize it,” Hazelwood Police Department Sgt. Scott Schnurbusch told the local Fox affiliate.

Bracho is being held in the St. Louis County jail on $500,000 bail.

Authorities have charged her with first-degree involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree assault, two counts of first-degree child endangerment (because her two children were in her vehicle), and one count of operating a vehicle without a valid license.

Multiple media stories did not offer details of how or when Bracho entered the country.

Republican Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri, however, noted the consequence of Biden’s unwillingness to police the border.

“Travis Wolfe, a 12-year old Missouri boy killed by an illegal migrant. This is what an open border does. Say his name,” Hawley wrote Monday in a post on X.
