ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – 112th Avenue NE in St. Petersburg is shut down in both directions due to a fatal crash. Drivers are asked to seek an alternate route.
At 6:52 a.m. this morning, officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian, an adult female, was transported to Bayfront Hospital and was later pronounced dead.

Next of kin has not been notified.
The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
