11-Year-Old Student At Lakeside Christian School In Clearwater Arrested For School Threat

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – An 11-year-old student at Lakeside Christian School in Clearwater, Florida, has been arrested for allegedly sending a threatening text message to other students.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office reported that Jamion Wade sent a text on August 15th stating, “ONG I MIGHT SHOOT UP DA SCHOOL, JS WATCH, NOVEMBER 4.”

Detectives responded to the school on September 17th and, after an investigation, arrested Wade. He has been charged with one count of Written Threats to Kill or Conduct a Mass Shooting and is currently at the Pinellas Juvenile Assessment Center.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about potential threats is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Office immediately.
