11-Year-Old Arrested For Texting Pinellas Park Middle School Shooting Threat

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies arrested a Pinellas County Schools student for Written Threats to Kill or Conduct a Mass Shooting.

Deputies state that 11-year-old Allen Nail sent text messages to another student regarding conducting a school shooting that would take place at Pinellas Park Middle School.

Additionally, Nail sent a photo of what appeared to be an AR-15 to the student.

During the investigation, Nail initially denied sending any text messages, but later admitted that it was a joke. According to deputies, a BB gun was located that resembled an AR-15.

Nail was arrested and charged with one count of Written Threats to Kill or Conduct a Mass Shooting.
