CLEARWATER, Fla. – A one-year-old boy has died after drowning in a Clearwater pool on Thursday, according to officials.
Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue personnel responded to a report of an unresponsive child in a pool at 6:14 p.m. in the 200 block of North Highland Avenue.
The child, a boy just under two years old, was taken to Morton Plant Hospital for treatment and sadly passed away about an hour after being taken to the hospital.
