1 Person Hospitalized After Being Lit On Fire At Tampa Gas Station

TAMPA, Fla. - One person was taken into custody after deputies say they poured gasoline on another person and lit them on fire after an altercation at a Tampa gas station on Sunday afternoon.

TAMPA, Fla. – One person was taken into custody after deputies say they poured gasoline on another person and lit them on fire after an altercation at a Tampa gas station on Sunday afternoon.

According to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the Mobile gas station on Bearss Avenue and 22nd Street just after 4:30 p.m.

The victim was transported to Tampa General, and their condition is unknown at this time.

Deputies say the person that lit the victim on fire is in custody but has not been charged yet.
