1 Adult, 3 Juveniles Arrested In Oldsmar Marijuana Robbery

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. - Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested an adult male and three juveniles for a robbery that occurred in Oldsmar.

OLDSMAR, Fla. – Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested an adult male and three juveniles for a robbery that occurred in Oldsmar.

According to investigators, on June 14, 2023, at approximately 10:00 p.m., deputies were flagged down near US Highway 19 and Tampa Road by 15-year-old Christian Cruz, who stated his two friends were stabbed and needed assistance.

Deputies located two subjects, later identified as 15-year-old Jalen Stephens and 20-year-old Julian Moore, with stab wounds.

They were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

During the initial investigation, another juvenile, 16-year-old Camden Drachbar, called 911 and reported that he met up with three males in the parking lot of 3675 Tampa Road in Oldsmar to sell marijuana. During the drug transaction, the males assaulted him and stole a handgun contained in his backpack.

Throughout the course of the investigation, detectives learned that Drachbar arrived in the parking lot of 3675 Tampa Road in Oldsmar to sell marijuana to three individuals who he met on Snapchat.

Detectives say as Drachbar was speaking to the subjects, who were inside a vehicle, another subject came up behind him and bear hugged him.

The subject then threw him into the vehicle, causing him to hit his forehead, and then he was thrown to the ground.

After Drachbar was thrown to the ground, Stephens stole Drachbar’s backpack and took Drachbar’s marijuana and firearm out of it. Stephens then dropped the gun on the ground and started fighting with Drachbar.

During the altercation, Drachbar pulled out a knife and stabbed Stephens and Moore. Moore then took the firearm from the ground and brought it into the car as they left the scene.

Moore was charged with Robbery, Grand Theft of a Firearm, and Three Counts of Child Abuse. He was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.

Cruz and Stephens were charged with Robbery and transported to Pinellas County Juvenile Assessment Center.

Drachbar was charged with Carrying a Concealed Firearm and transported to Pinellas County Juvenile Assessment Center.
