TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery that started as a shoe sale.

The victim first met the suspect on Dec 22, 2023, when they casually discussed shoes. The suspect and victim exchanged contact information to schedule a shoe sale.

On Dec 26, 2023, after arranging to sell a pair of sneakers to the suspect, the victim and his wife, who are both in their mid-thirties, arrived at the Park Terrace Apartments at 4121 Royal Banyan Dr.

The victim left his wife in the car and entered a breezeway of the apartment complex with the suspect, where the suspect produced a gun and was joined by two additional armed suspects.

The three then stole the victim’s personal belongings before going to the victim’s vehicle and robbing his wife.
