Plant City Police Investigate Shooting And Homicide On Warren Street

PLANT CITY, Fla. – The Plant City Police Department is actively investigating a homicide and shooting that occurred Sunday night.

Around 9:30 p.m. on February 16, 2025, officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1800 block of East Warren Street. Upon arrival, they found a deceased male inside a vehicle and another male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his arm. The injured male was transported to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.

“Our department is working tirelessly and utilizing all available resources to determine what happened and bring those responsible to justice,” said Chief Richard Mills. “We are also keeping the victim’s family in our thoughts during this difficult time.”
