RIVERVIEW, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) responded to a major fire involving multiple large vehicles at the CubeSmart Self Storage facility on US 301 in Riverview late this morning.

The fire, which broke out around 11:51 AM on Friday, reportedly started with one RV and quickly spread to other nearby vehicles.

911 dispatchers received numerous calls from individuals reporting the blaze. The first arriving engine crew confirmed that several vehicles were heavily involved in fire. Firefighters initiated an aggressive attack, battling multiple blazes for over 25 minutes before successfully suppressing the flames and preventing further spread.

A total of seven vehicles, including multiple RVs, were damaged or destroyed in the fire. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries to civilians or first responders.

As of the latest update, the scene remains active, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. HCFR has not yet released information about the extent of the damage or the potential cause of the initial RV fire. Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
