Largo Fire Rescue Battles Structure Fire In Shangri-La, One Critically Injured

LARGO, Fla. – Largo Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at the Shangri-La Manufactured Home Community on 249 Jasper Street around 9:38 AM on Saturday. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames engulfing a manufactured home.

Crews swiftly entered the burning structure and rescued one occupant, who was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Firefighters successfully extinguished the blaze, preventing further damage to the surrounding homes.

The cause and origin of the fire are currently under investigation by Largo Fire Rescue.
