Land O’ Lakes Man Killed After San Antonio Man Runs Red Light On County Line Road

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A fatal crash on Thursday evening in Pasco County claimed the life of a 69-year-old Land O’ Lakes man.

The collision occurred around 7:44 PM at the intersection of County Line Road and U.S. 41. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a Chevy Silverado pickup truck driven by a 38-year-old man from San Antonio ran a red light while traveling eastbound on County Line Road.

The Silverado collided with a northbound Toyota Tundra driven by the 69-year-old man. The impact of the crash caused fatal injuries to the driver of the Tundra, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Silverado sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
