Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) officers intercepted a cargo van carrying suspected illegal aliens after it bypassed an agricultural interdiction station in Nassau County. The incident led to the arrest of the driver and the detention of four passengers.
On Tuesday, officers from the Office of Agricultural Law Enforcement (OALE) stopped the white cargo van. They discovered that the driver did not have a valid driver’s license and found four additional individuals inside the cargo area. The U.S. Border Patrol was contacted and advised OALE to detain all the individuals.

Border Patrol agents arrived and conducted checks, revealing that the individuals were suspected illegal aliens. The driver was arrested for operating a vehicle without a valid license and bypassing the interdiction station. He was transported to the Nassau County jail, where an immigration detainer was placed on him. The four passengers were detained by Border Patrol.
